The name 'Puritans AI' is inspired by what the Puritans achieved in the 16th and 17th centuries.
They were early transformers, driving change in the Church of England during the 16th and 17th centuries. They removed old practices and sought new and better ways, contributing to the formation of the United Kingdom we know and love today.
As they gained more influence, networks of conferences were established, making the Puritans well-organised and well-connected.
The Puritans left for New England, founding the Massachusetts Bay Colony. They were among the early founders of Harvard and established dame schools for their daughters. They possessed great knowledge, survival instincts, and were among the most literate. They were great educators, challengers, collaborators, pioneers, and champions of inclusion.
With the advancement of AI, there is a moral responsibility and human dignity element we all have to consider. Is AI a human creation or divine inspiration, and can AI really replace human judgement, moral responsibility, is AI only a tool or should it be an autonomous moral agent?
Our founder formed Puritan AI to challenge the norm, present a different way of working, and hope to help people to learn and use AI responsibly, and to achieve collective success for our society.
